Me: The Biblio Brat
I am an avid reader who also likes to write and occasionally stand behind a camera. Photography is a hobby and another way to see the world – much like reading. Except then, you are reading others’ interpretations, not your own.
This is a good thing. I find it pretty damn boring listening to my own thoughts, so I seek out others. If you feel the same, then you’ve come to the right place.
Here is where after mulling over what I’ve read and formed an opinion, I write about it, hoping that the reader will see a point of view or aspect new to them.
Posts on this site will be about books as well as current issues affecting literacy and literature.
You may not agree with me always.
Good.
I only ask that you please disagree with me agreeably. I welcome respectful discourse, because going through life hearing your own thoughts coming out of someone else’s mouth constantly is an intellectual life suck. I’d rather surround myself with those of differing opinions, who are willing to discuss them, than those who are merely a mirror of my own, and are ever fearful of change.
Welcome to the Biblio Blogazine.
I hope there is something new for you here. If not, I welcome suggestions regarding books, topics, and format.
